The Bassocontinuo Reference Line Accordeon XL4 2.1 is a second-generation modular audio rack that has evolved in performance, stability, payload, and design. It features a solid stainless steel structure with independent shelves and adjustable spikes. The shelves have been increased in thickness to 30 mm to enhance rigidity and performance. Height between shelves is adjustable from 85 to 340 mm, with overall dimensions of 660 x 560 mm (W x D). Each shelf has a useful size of 560 x 560 mm, and the top shelf measures 660 x 560 mm. Load capacity is 110 kg for the bottom shelf and 90 kg for the others. Decoupling is achieved through elastomer washers under each shelf and a DSD system under the rack, with four HDR (Harmonic Damper Resonators) under each shelf except the bottom one. The rack is designed with a scientific approach to vibration control, including accelerometer tests in collaboration with Vicoter and Politecnico di Milano. The design is inspired by vintage, nautical, and automotive themes, offering six combinations of materials and textures. The product is modular and upgradeable, allowing users to add or modify shelves and spacers. Each shelf includes an NFC tag for authenticity verification and product information access. The Reference Line is handmade in Italy and is considered one of the most imitated and successful products in its category, praised for both its aesthetic appeal and technical performance.
