The Barefoot Sound MicroMain27 is a 3.5-way active studio monitor system with five drive units housed in sealed enclosures. It features dual 10" aluminum cone subwoofers with Dual-Force technology to cancel cabinet vibrations, two 5.25" midrange drivers, and a 1" ring radiator tweeter. The system delivers a frequency response from 30 Hz to 45 kHz with vanishingly low distortion, breathtaking dynamic range, and ultra-fast transient response. It includes a powerful 1180W amplifier distributed as 500W to the subwoofers, 250W to each midrange driver, and 180W to the tweeter. The cabinet is made of MDF with a machined aluminum front baffle and is sealed and heavily braced to minimize diffraction and resonance. The MicroMain27 incorporates MEME (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology, allowing it to emulate the sound characteristics of classic monitors like the Yamaha NS10M and mix cubes, as well as a Hi-Fi mode and a flat mode for accurate reference listening. The DSP crossover and amplifier stage were developed with advanced proprietary filtering and high-end converters, ensuring a coherent and revealing soundstage. The monitors accept analog and digital AES3 inputs and have selectable mains voltage. Each speaker weighs 68 lbs and measures approximately 20.5 x 10.5 x 17.4 inches (HxWxD).
