About the Beogram RX2
The Bang & Olufsen BeoGram RX2 is a vintage turntable produced between 1985 and 1991. Designed by Jacob Jensen, it is celebrated for its minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics and innovative engineering. The RX2 features a tangential (linear) tracking tonearm, automatic record size and speed detection, and advanced chassis suspension for superior vibration isolation. It is compatible with Bang & Olufsen’s proprietary MMC series cartridges (MMC1–MMC5), which are known for their ultra-low mass and excellent tracking ability. The turntable is fully automatic, offering seven repeat functions and a search feature for both forward and backward playback. Its robust build and reliable performance make it a favorite among collectors and audiophiles.
