The Ayre K-1xe preamplifier is considered one of the most innovative designs by Ayre Acoustics, combining singular transparency with unparalleled musicality. It features fully balanced, zero-feedback FET circuitry and a revolutionary volume control using solid-silver contacts that eliminates wiring to enhance sonic performance. The K-1xe offers ultra-high-quality stepped attenuators, inductor-input audio power supply filtering, and a patented Ayre Conditioner power line RFI filter. It includes a reference quality phono option with adjustable gain and loading, and an optional remote control.
