About the AX-7e

The Ayre Acoustics AX-7e is a two-channel integrated amplifier with zero-feedback, fully balanced circuitry and Ayre’s proprietary Dynamic Power supply technology. It delivers 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 120 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Four line-level inputs are provided—two balanced and two single-ended—along with a 66-step, 1 dB-increment volume control using FET switches and precision metal-film resistors. A theater mode facilitates integration with a surround processor, while the input selector disconnects inactive source grounds. The microprocessor powers down except when processing commands to help minimize noise. The AX-7e measures 17.25 inches wide by 13.75 inches deep by 4.75 inches high, weighs approximately 25 pounds, and includes a remote control.
