About the Spirit V
The Ayon Spirit V is a fully redesigned successor to the legendary Spirit III, featuring new operating and protection circuit boards, optimized gain and driver stages, a new volume control, driver stage choke, and output transformer. It operates in pure Class-A using KT150 or KT170 tubes in a push-pull configuration, switchable between pentode and triode modes. The amplifier is known for its fast, airy, dynamic, and punchy sound with deep bass and a transparent, holographic soundstage. It includes an analog bias meter and optional USB-DAC input supporting up to 384kHz/24bit and DSD256. The Spirit V can also function as a pure power amplifier bypassing preamp stages. It features premium components such as audiophile-grade coupling capacitors, beryllium-copper spring pin tube sockets, WBT NextGen binding posts, Neutrik XLR connectors, and a high-grade aluminum chassis with anti-vibration and resonance-absorbing design. Connectivity includes 3 line inputs, 1 XLR input, 1 direct input, and 1 pre-out. The amplifier includes a remote control with volume and mute functions and a ground switch. It weighs 33 kg and measures 48x37x25 cm. The Spirit V sets a new standard in build quality, sound performance, and timeless design in its price class.
