The Avantgarde Acoustic Zero 1 Pro is a high-end, active three-way loudspeaker featuring horn-loaded tweeter and midrange drivers, and a dynamic bass woofer. It integrates digital signal processing with a digital crossover implemented via a 64-bit FPGA, ensuring precise phase and impulse response characteristics. The speaker accepts digital inputs including USB, Toslink, SPDIF, and AES/EBU, with an optional analog input. Each speaker contains three amplifiers: two 50W Class A amps for the horn-loaded tweeter and midrange, and one 400W Class D amp for the bass driver. The system uses three 24-bit Burr-Brown DACs with 24-bit/192kHz upsampling. The enclosure is a polyurethane-based rigid foam cabinet with a soft-touch finish, measuring approximately 490 x 1040 x 318 mm and weighing about 30 kg per speaker. Sensitivity is rated over 104 dB, with a frequency response from 30 Hz to 20 kHz. The speakers feature wireless communication between master and slave units and come with a stylish aluminum remote control.
