The Avantgarde Acoustic **DUO 3.0** is a generation of the Duo horn loudspeaker system that combines large spherical midrange and tweeter horns with an integrated, self‑powered bass system using active subwoofers (SUB225CTRL). It is a high‑efficiency, horn‑loaded floorstanding speaker designed to be easily driven by low‑power amplifiers, thanks to sensitivity typically around or above 100 dB/W/m. Like other DUO variants of its era, it uses a hybrid concept: passive horn‑loaded mid/high sections mated to actively amplified bass modules, giving wide‑band dynamic capability and deep bass extension while allowing fine adjustment of the low‑frequency response.
