About the V3M
The Aurum Cantus V3M is a standmount loudspeaker featuring a sleek, compact design that maximizes musical fidelity in small to medium-sized rooms without quality loss. It uses a 2-way vented-box design with a frequency response of 45Hz to 40kHz and a sensitivity of 88dB (2.83V/1m). The speaker has an 8-ohm impedance (minimum 6.4 ohms) and recommends a power amplifier between 50 and 200 watts. It incorporates a G3N purified aluminum ribbon tweeter (110mm×14.5mm×0.01mm) known for high power handling, high output, and a shielded design that is easily field-replaceable. The midwoofer is a 165mm (6.5") AC165AVM/50CK model with an aluminum frame and a composite cone made of non-woven carbon fiber and Kevlar, featuring a 50mm copper-clad aluminum voice coil and a special magnet system with a Faraday ring and demodulation coil. The crossover frequency is set at 2200Hz with attenuation slopes of -12dB for the woofer and -18dB for the tweeter. High-quality crossover components include M-Cap Supreme MKP capacitors for the tweeter and Aurum Cantus MKP capacitors for the midwoofer, along with purified OFC inductors and military-standard metal oxide film resistors. The speaker uses Teflon insulated OCC cable for internal wiring and has 4 gold-plated copper connectors supporting bi-wiring. The cabinet is made from high-quality MDF with a standard Rosewood high gloss paint finish, with optional finishes including Figured maple, Cherry, and Black high gloss paints. Dimensions are approximately 16.14" (H) x 8.86" (W) x 14.13" (D), and the net weight is 16 kg (35.27 lb) per speaker, with a total shipping weight of 50 kg (110.24 lb) per pair. The Aurum Cantus V3M is praised for its gorgeous looks, smooth and easy-to-listen-to sound, and suitability for a wide range of music genres.
