About the W20SE
The Aurender W20SE is a reference-class network music server and digital transport designed to feed an external DAC. It has no internal DAC, analogue outputs, or headphone stage. Its architecture combines OCXO Rev2 clocking, battery power for the audio circuitry, a linear supply for the system section, SSD-based storage/cache, isolated Gigabit Ethernet, and a dedicated digital-output stage. It supports local-library playback and streaming through Aurender Conductor, including TIDAL, Qobuz and internet radio, with onboard MQA Core decoding. A distinctive feature is its OCXO-controlled dual-wire AES/EBU output, allowing compatible DACs to receive PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DoP DSD128 without USB. It can be specified with up to 16 TB of internal music-library SSD storage.
