About the N200

The Aurender N200 is a high-performance network audio transport and music server designed to feed an external DAC. It provides no analog outputs, internal DAC, or headphone amplifier; connection to a DAC is through its dedicated isolated USB Audio Class 2.0 output or RCA coaxial S/PDIF output. The N200 uses a low-power Intel quad-core processor, 8 GB RAM, a 240 GB NVMe system/cache SSD, a double-isolated Gigabit Ethernet interface, a low-noise power supply, and a super-capacitor uninterruptible power supply for safe shutdowns. It includes two user-installable bays for 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD storage, although storage drives are not included as standard. Control is performed through the Aurender Conductor application on iOS or Android, and wired Ethernet is required for network operation. Supported services and functions include local-library playback, NAS and USB storage access, streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, and Spotify Connect, and Roon Ready operation. The model is listed in some current product databases as discontinued, although Aurender documentation and dealer listings may still present it as an active or supported model; availability and manufacturing status can therefore vary by market.
