About the A15

The Aurender A15 is a high-performance analog output network player that integrates a dual-mono MQA full-decoder DAC, utilizing the AKM 4490 chipset. It supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512. The device features a full-color 6.9-inch IPS LCD display, variable output balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analog outputs, and includes USB digital output along with coaxial and optical digital inputs. It is powered by an Intel Low Power Quad Core CPU, has 8GB of RAM, and includes a 240GB NVMe SSD for system and cache storage. The A15 also supports user-installable storage options with two 2.5-inch compartments, allowing for up to 8TB of storage. It includes a linear power supply with a Super Capacitor-based UPS and features a high-precision FPGA-based clock system to minimize jitter. The A15 can function as a preamplifier with volume control, making it suitable for direct connection to power amplifiers or active loudspeakers.
