About the SRC-DX

The AudioWise SRC-DX is a USB-to-S/PDIF digital audio bridge designed to avoid the USB receiver stage inside a DAC. It converts USB 2.0 audio from a computer or compatible music server into one or two 75-ohm coaxial S/PDIF outputs on BNC connectors. In dual-coax mode, it is intended primarily for compatible Chord Electronics DACs and other equipment accepting dual-BNC high-resolution input; in single-coax mode, it can feed standard coaxial DAC inputs or equipment such as the Chord M Scaler. The unit is bus-powered, USB Audio Class-compliant, driverless on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and includes selectable standard/high S/PDIF output level. Its design emphasizes low power consumption and low RF noise.
