About the OPTO-DX

The Audiowise OPTO-DX is a specialized digital audio component that serves as an optical isolation bridge. It is designed to address RF noise issues in single or dual-coax S/PDIF interfaces by modulating the signal to optical and back to S/PDIF, providing total optical galvanic isolation. This process helps in reducing noise and improving sound quality by offering a smoother, less bright presentation with more subtle details. The OPTO-DX also features independent DC inputs for each side of the optical bridge, allowing for complete power isolation using battery packs or low-noise supplies.
