The AudioQuest Bedrock speaker cable uses a unique double quad-helix construction that allows it to function as a true double bi-wire set when the halves are separated at the speaker end. One quad-helix is biased toward treble finesse, while the other is bass-focused, together providing a fully optimized full-range audio experience. The cable features partially conductive carbon-loaded polyethylene insulation on the negative conductors to reduce radio-frequency interference, improving sound clarity and dimensionality. Terminations include high-quality gold or silver plating directly over the connectors without a nickel layer, and soft PK-spade lugs for superior connection quality. The cable is known for delivering tight, controlled bass, silky mids, and smooth highs, making it highly musical and refined with the right gear. It is part of AudioQuest's Flat Rock series and is designed to minimize noise and distortion for enhanced dynamic contrast and information intelligibility.
