About the AMP IV
The Audionet AMP IV is a high-end power amplifier featuring four separate amplifying channels specifically designed for bi-amping high-quality loudspeakers, allowing midrange and bass frequencies to be amplified independently for maximum sound quality. It employs Audionet's ultralinear amplifier concept to ensure extremely low distortion, high speed, and stability. The amplifier is microprocessor controlled and built with discrete, fast, and stable driver and output stages. It features gold-plated RCA inputs, WBT 4mm gold-plated speaker outputs, and optical remote activation. Manufactured in Bochum, Germany, the AMP IV offers exemplary freedom from distortion, superb playback stability, and a frequency response from 2 Hz to 300 kHz (-3 dB). It has a damping factor greater than 2000 and channel separation over 100 dB at 1 kHz. The unit weighs 18 kg and has a brushed aluminum front panel available in black or silver anodized finishes.
