The AudioMeca J1 is a belt-driven turntable designed by Pierre Lurne, known for its precision engineering and innovative features. It incorporates a sprung chassis with double compliance suspension to isolate vibrations. The platter is an 8kg composite of machined metacrylate and lead, designed to optimize vibration damping and resonance control. The motor is integrated and independently enclosed within a 3kg lead block to minimize motor noise and vibration transmission. Electronic speed control is provided via an integrated panel, and the power supply is separate, connected through Neutrik connectors. The turntable includes a removable dust cover and is finished in black metacrylate or precious wood. It weighs 20kg and measures 500 x 450 x 200 mm. The design emphasizes simplicity and mechanical stability to ensure superior sound quality and tracking performance.
