About the Thunderchild 112

The AudioKinesis Thunderchild 112 is a compact, high-output two-way vented 1×12-inch bass-guitar loudspeaker cabinet designed by Duke LeJeune/AudioKinesis. The current Thunderchild 12v4 uses a front-firing 12-inch woofer and an improved horn-loaded compression driver, with configurable ports and selectable treble extension to adapt the cabinet to bass, modelling amplifiers, keyboards, light-duty PA, or home-audio use. It is currently listed by AudioKinesis in Thunderchild 12v4 and 112UFT variants. The UFT version adds a level-adjustable up-firing horn/tweeter. James Romeyn is an AudioKinesis sales partner for the company’s home-audio loudspeaker systems; the Thunderchild 112 itself is an AudioKinesis bass cabinet, not a separately branded James Romeyn model.
