About the LCS
The AudioKinesis LCS (Late Ceiling Splash) is a four-speaker system consisting of a pair of main loudspeakers and a pair of dedicated, upward-firing speakers positioned on the floor. The auxiliary speakers direct sound toward the ceiling, creating a relatively late-arriving, spectrally consistent reverberant field that enhances spaciousness and envelopment while preserving the main speakers’ imaging cues. The LCS concept was developed by James Romeyn and Duke LeJeune and was demonstrated by AudioKinesis at the 2013 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest.
