The Audio-Technica AT-OC9XSH is part of the renowned AT-OC9X series, the fourth generation of Audio-Technica's legendary moving coil cartridges introduced at HIGH END Munich 2019. It employs a dual moving coil design with independent left and right channel coils aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation to minimize stylus pressure and distortion. Key features include a nude Shibata stylus on a 0.28 mm diameter nude boron cantilever, Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting (PCOCC) coils, neodymium magnet with permendur yoke for increased magnetic energy, and a rigid aluminum body to reduce resonance. The pre-threaded half-inch mount allows easy installation with just two screws.
