The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X is a premium fully manual belt-drive turntable released in 2026, positioned between the AT-LP5X and AT-LP8X models. It features a minimalist matte black 40mm MDF plinth, a high-density 20mm acrylic platter for reduced resonance and stable rotation, and an exposed motor with electronic speed control for 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. The 9.7-inch J-shaped aluminum tonearm with dual-axis gimbal suspension, precision bearings, adjustable VTA, anti-skate (up to 4g), and included 16g sub-counterweight supports cartridge/headshell combinations from 14.0g to 23.5g (up to 28.5g with optional 32g sub-counterweight). It includes the AT-VM95E moving magnet cartridge on AT-LT10 headshell, compatible with VM95 series styli. The built-in switchable phono preamp supports MM (36 dB gain, 4.0 mV output) and MC (56 dB gain) cartridges, with line-level output at 252 mV. Spring-based isolation feet, external 12V DC power supply (5.5W consumption), and accessories like RCA cables, 45 RPM adapter, and hinged dust cover enhance versatility for direct connection to active speakers or amplifiers.
