The Audio Physic Midex (also referred to as Midex 2 in updated versions) is an award-winning floorstanding speaker positioned between the Codex and Avanti models. It employs innovative PowerTrain technology with woofers flanking the midrange and tweeter for improved bass fidelity and reduced room acoustic interference. The cabinet uses advanced materials like open-cell Ceramic Foam reinforcements and Honeycomb Sandwich Boards for rigidity and minimal resonances, outperforming traditional MDF. Key drivers include the new HHCM SL midrange (without centering spider), third-generation HHCT tweeter, and dual aluminum cone woofers. It features a damped crossover network, WBT nextgen connectors, and a robust traverse base with M8 threads for optional VCF V Magnetic Plus feet. Available in glass, veneer, and high-gloss finishes. The 2022 update includes optimized crossover and enhanced midrange for unrivaled performance in its class.
