About the MC6310

The Audio Tekne MC-6310 is a very-low-output moving-coil phono cartridge built with a machined carbon-block body intended to suppress unwanted vibration. It has a 0.1 mV output at 5 cm/sec and 1 kHz, a 1.5–2.0 g recommended tracking force, and 2.0-ohm impedance. Its extremely low output makes appropriate low-noise phono amplification or a suitable step-up transformer important.
