The Audio-Technica AT120E/T cartridge incorporates a vector-aligned dual magnet design and an exclusive Paratoroidal signal generator, which uses a unified, laminated coil core wound with a single piece of wire to minimize magnetic losses and improve signal transfer. It features a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical nude diamond stylus mounted on an aluminum alloy tube cantilever, providing excellent tracking and sound clarity. The cartridge offers a frequency response from 15 to 25,000 Hz, channel separation of 29 dB at 1 kHz, and an output voltage of 5.0 mV at 1 kHz, 5 cm/sec. It has a recommended tracking force range of 1.0 to 1.8 grams (standard 1.4 g) and a vertical tracking angle of 20°. The cartridge body is constructed with high-density, resonance-free materials for reduced distortion and improved soundstage.
