The Audio-Technica AT-LP7 is a high-performance, fully manual belt-drive turntable engineered for serious vinyl enthusiasts. It features a robust 40mm-thick MDF chassis for superior vibration damping, a 20mm-thick polyoxymethylene platter for stable rotation, and a sensor-monitored DC motor for precise speed control at both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. The turntable comes equipped with a professional-grade J-shaped tonearm with metallic gimbal suspension, precision bearings, adjustable height (0–6mm), counterweight, and anti-skate control. It includes the VM520EB Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with a 0.3×0.7 mil elliptical stylus, mounted on a lightweight AT-HS10 headshell, and supports easy stylus upgrades within the VM line. A built-in, switchable phono/line preamp allows connection to both phono and line-level inputs, with selectable modes for moving magnet (MM) or moving coil (MC) cartridges.
