About the Spark

The Spark is a compact three-way standmount loudspeaker in Audio Physic's Reference Line, engineered to bridge the gap between traditional bookshelf and floorstanding speakers by delivering full-range performance from a large monitor-sized cabinet. It uses Audio Physic's PowerTrain technology trickled down from the Cardeas series, centered on the HHCM SL spiderless midrange driver, which operates without a centering spider to reduce mechanical losses and distortion while improving resolution and listening comfort. A 39 mm HHCT III tweeter and a 7-inch woofer with Dual Surround technology complete the three-way, rear-ported design, providing high dynamics, wide bandwidth, and unusually deep, controlled bass for a standmount speaker. The cabinet employs a sophisticated, low-resonance construction optimized for stiffness and internal damping, with high-quality crossover components for clean signal transfer and fine detail retrieval. The Spark pairs particularly well with Audio Physic's Sherpa M stands, available as an optional accessory for optimal listening height and stability.
