The Van Alstine DVA 600 SET Monoblock Amplifiers are powerful, balanced Class A/B monoblocks rated at 600 watts into 8 ohms and over 700 watts into 4 ohms, with burst power ratings of 775W into 8 ohms and 1500W into 4 ohms. Each amplifier weighs 36 pounds and measures 17" wide, 13" deep, and 7" high. They feature regulated power supplies for all amplifier sections including output transistors, and are biased as Class A at normal listening levels. The front panel is made of 1/4" thick double anodized aluminum with a two-tone silver/grey finish, including a power button and blue LED indicator. The amps run remarkably cool despite their power output. Optional RCA input is External fuses include a 12A for main AC and two 8A for speakers, allowing convenient fuse replacement without opening the unit. These monoblocks are capable of driving speakers down to 2 ohms due to a higher current transformer and internal modifications, making them suitable for demanding speaker loads.
