The Audio Artistry Beethoven Grand loudspeaker system is the flagship model of the Composer series, featuring two main panels with external passive crossovers, two woofer units, and an active crossover/equalizer. The main panels use custom-made 10" paper/carbon-doped woofers for bass up to 200Hz, crossing over to 8" Kevlar midrange drivers and a monopole tweeter for treble, designed to avoid dipole radiation in the treble frequencies. The woofer cabinets each contain four 12" drivers arranged to cancel vibrations, minimizing cabinet and floor resonance. The system requires two stereo amplifiers or four monoblocks to drive the main panels and woofers separately. The active crossover handles the 100Hz transition between panels and woofers and performs equalization to achieve a smooth frequency response down to 20Hz. The crossover box is detachable and isolated from vibrations, allowing easy upgrades. The cabinets feature high-quality finishes including piano black lacquer and solid rosewood side panels.
