The Audience Adept Response aR2p (also referenced as aR2) is a compact, high-performance power conditioner designed to elevate audio and video systems by providing superior power delivery, noise reduction, and protection. It features partial power factor correction that restores dynamics by improving voltage and current phase alignment, making amplifiers approximately 10% more powerful on average. Proprietary filtering uses hand-wound inductors and Audience Auricap high-resolution capacitors, with all internal wiring made from Audience PowerChord wire. The entire circuitry is cryogenically treated for optimal performance. It offers full EMI/RFI isolation, wideband RF filtration for a lower noise floor and blacker background, and sonically transparent overvoltage protection surviving up to 20,000 amp surges without degradation, unlike MOV devices. Additional features include low-impedance magnetic circuit breakers, extremely low DC impedance for dynamic range maximization, star-wired ground plane, and double filtering between outlets. Ideal for simple systems like integrated amps with CD players or video setups, it enhances soundstaging, dimensionality, depth, resolution, and transient response without limiting dynamics.
