The Audience Clairaudient The One is a high-end small-space reference bookshelf speaker measuring 7" high by 5.5" wide by 7" deep. It features a single proprietary 3" full-range A3S dynamic driver with a titanium alloy cone, a moving mass of 2.5 grams, and 12mm excursion capability—the same driver used in Audience's flagship Clairaudient 16+16 model. The speaker uses a sealed box design with a rear-facing 90mm circular passive radiator to enhance bass response. Internally, it is wired with Audience's Ohno continuous casting (OCC) monocrystal wire. The elimination of a crossover and multiple drivers reduces phase distortion and transient degradation, resulting in improved resolution and coherence akin to electrostatic speakers but with the power of dynamic drivers. It has a sensitivity of 84dB, an impedance of 8 ohms (with optional 4 or 16 ohm models), and a frequency response of -3dB at 80Hz up to 22kHz in room listening position. The speaker weighs approximately 1.81 kg (4 lbs) each and is available in high-gloss black and blue finishes. It is praised for its spectacular imaging, full and natural midrange, and ability to project a large soundstage beyond its small size, making it suitable for desktop and small room listening environments.
