About the Tri-Corner Bass Traps
The ATS Acoustics Tri-Corner Bass Traps are handcrafted in the USA and constructed from a rigid fiberglass core with a density of 6 pounds per cubic foot, providing exceptional sound absorption with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.95. These frameless panels feature 35-degree mitered edges for seamless installation into room corners where walls and ceiling meet. The panels are covered with ATS Acoustics' exclusive Guilford of Maine SONA acoustical fabric, which is 100% polyester and fire rated Class A per ASTM E84, available in multiple colors. Installation is simplified by embedded magnets on each side of the panel that attach to washers installed on the wall, allowing for easy mounting and relocation if needed. The panels come in various sizes including 12", 18", and 24" sides, each with a depth of 2". These bass traps are effective broadband absorbers, lightweight (average weight around 0.55 lbs for smaller sizes), and designed to improve room acoustics by reducing bass buildup in corners.
