About the SCM50ASL

The ATC SCM50ASL is a hand-built-in-the-UK, three-way active stand-mount loudspeaker designed for high-end domestic and professional monitoring applications. It uses a 25mm soft-dome tweeter, a 75mm soft-dome midrange driver, and a 234mm Super Linear bass driver. Dedicated MOSFET amplifier channels provide 50W for the high-frequency driver, 100W for the midrange driver, and 200W for the bass driver, with active crossover and amplifier electronics designed and manufactured by ATC. Specified performance includes a 38Hz–25kHz frequency response at -6dB, ±2dB amplitude linearity from 70Hz to 20kHz, coherent dispersion of ±80° horizontally and ±10° vertically, and maximum continuous output of 112dB SPL at 1m. The speaker has a balanced XLR input and protection for amplifier overload and tweeter thermal conditions. Its dimensions are approximately 717 × 304 × 480mm (H×W×D), including the rear amplifier, and its weight is approximately 48.9kg per speaker. Finish options include real-wood veneers and painted finishes, subject to availability.
