The ATC SCM 50 ASL Anniversary is a limited edition active loudspeaker celebrating ATC's heritage, featuring a 25mm SH25-76S silk-dome tweeter, a 75mm SM75-150S soft dome midrange driver, and a 234mm (9") bass driver with Super Linear Magnet technology. It is tri-amplified with dedicated MOSFET amplifiers delivering 50W to the tweeter, 100W to the midrange, and 200W to the bass driver. The speaker uses active electronic crossovers and filters for precise driver control and improved imaging. It offers a frequency response of approximately 62Hz to 17kHz within ±2dB, with extended response down to 35Hz at ±6dB. The design includes a Class-A input stage and active filters, with a maximum SPL of 112dB and a matched response within ±0.5dB. The cabinet features a piano finish with metal inserts and an exclusive baffle, plinth, and spike assembly. The speaker is now discontinued, replaced by the SCM50 SE model. Dimensions are approximately 1015mm high, 426mm wide, and 480mm deep, weighing about 53.3 kg per speaker. It connects via male XLR and includes a 6-year warranty. This model is highly regarded for its accuracy, transparency, and dynamic range, suitable for both professional studio and high-fidelity home use.
