About the AK500N
The AK500N is Astell&Kern's first desktop network audio product, combining digital technology with analog sound. It includes a 7-inch touchscreen, built-in battery for noise isolation, and supports WAV, FLAC, WMA, MP3, OGG, APE, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, DFF, DSF formats. It has dual Cirrus Logic CS4398 DACs and supports sample rates up to 384kHz. The device offers fixed and variable analog outputs, digital inputs and outputs including AES/EBU, BNC, coaxial, and optical.
