The ASR Basis Exclusive HV is a solid-state MM/MC phono preamplifier with two stereo inputs, an external battery power supply, and both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) connections. Its power supply uses approximately 1,300,000 µF of filtering capacity, while the HV version incorporates high-voltage electrolytic capacitors in the acrylic-glass main chassis and battery supply. Gain is adjustable from 32 to 64 dB; input impedance and capacitance can be configured to match a wide range of cartridges. The unit provides one balanced and one unbalanced output. The main unit measures approximately 43 × 37 × 14 cm, and the external power supply approximately 46 × 33 × 16 cm; published weight figures vary by source and configuration.
