The ASR Emitter 2 Exclusive Battery Version Blue is a custom-built, high-performance integrated amplifier featuring a dual mono design with separate power supplies and an optional battery power supply unit for the input stage. This battery PSU supplies the input circuitry, significantly reducing noise and distortion for a highly organic and detailed musical reproduction. It uses 20 Toshiba MOSFETs in a Class A/B configuration, delivering 250W per channel into 8 ohms, 450W into 4 ohms, 800W into 2 ohms, and up to 1150W into 1 ohm with less than 0.1% distortion. The amplifier has a frequency response from 0.1Hz to 500kHz (-3dB), allowing it to reproduce ultra-low and ultra-high frequency harmonics beyond human hearing. It features a relay-based volume attenuator with 1dB steps, multiple high-level inputs including balanced and direct inputs, and a Corian remote control. The chassis includes massive brass mounting bars for output transistors and large heatsinks available in blue anodized finish. The unit is known for its smooth, open, and detailed sound with exceptional stability into difficult speaker loads. The battery power supply provides about 100 hours of operation and enhances the amplifier's sonic performance by powering the input stage separately from the main power supplies.
