The Aspen Acoustics Grand Aspen is a large, modular, hybrid floorstanding loudspeaker reported in specialist coverage in 2023. It uses separate upper mid/bass and lower subwoofer towers, extensive passive level controls, and can be configured for multi-amplifier operation—up to eight amplifier channels per stereo pair according to the review coverage. Its unusual driver complement combines a 12-inch Aurum Cantus bass driver, a handmade 2-inch-wide by 30-inch-high magnetic ribbon midrange, a 6-inch Accuton ceramic midrange driver, dual 1-inch ribbon tweeters, and an Aurum Cantus dipole supertweeter. The lower cabinet contains a side-slot-loaded active subwoofer driven by a 500-watt Dayton Audio SPA500 Class AB plate amplifier.
