About the LRS

The Artison LRS Surround Speakers are designed for home theater surround channels, delivering dynamic and stealthy sound performance. They come in surface mount (LRS-W) or in-wall (LRS-IW) versions and are engineered to complement Artison Masterpiece LCR, portrait LCR, and Sketch LCR speakers. Their hybrid acoustic design reproduces all sound below 3 kHz via a monopole driver for directional steering of fundamental and harmonic sounds, while sounds above 3 kHz are reproduced by dipole tweeters to create a spacious ambient sound field. Each speaker includes a 4.5-inch Kevlar midrange driver and two 1-inch Vifa dome tweeters spaced 90 degrees apart, providing a 180-degree sound dispersion arc that enhances ambient effects and action sequences in movies and games. The LRS-W mounts on the wall with an included bracket, while the LRS-IW fits standard 2x4 stud walls with a mounting depth of 3 3/8 inches. Both models have a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, 6-ohm impedance, 89 dB sensitivity, and a 5-year limited warranty.
