The Art Audio Quartet monoblocks are 45-watt push-pull amplifiers using 845 power tubes, designed to combine the power of push-pull designs with the musicality of lower power single-ended designs. They deliver a wide and deep soundstage with exceptional imaging and high frequency extension similar to a 300B tube. The amplifiers feature MKP capacitors, carbon film resistors, automatic electronic biasing, and a solid state twin choke filtered power supply. They include rectified DC heater supply with twin pye filters and are set for an auto bias of 85 mA at 750 volts. The amplifiers have switchable 6 dB feedback and are built with split bobbin multi-section output transformers. They come with ECC 82 and 12BH7 driver tubes and offer output impedance taps for 4 and 8 ohms. The chassis is available in black or silver, with optional upgrades such as glass lums, blue lights, and legs. Each amplifier weighs approximately 27 kg and measures 12.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 10 inches high. These amplifiers are made to order in the UK with a typical delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
