The Aric Audio Super 300B SET Monoblocks are premium, hand-crafted single-ended triode (SET) vacuum tube power amplifiers using a 6SN7 input stage in SRPP mode, a 6V6 driver stage in triode-strapped mode, and a 300B single-ended output stage. They employ an outboard power supply chassis with robust power transformer, twin 5U4GB rectifiers, dual OA3 gas regulators, three chokes, and film capacitors in each filter stage for low-noise operation. Interstage transformer coupling between the 6V6 driver and 300B output tube is used to avoid the typical “wooly” character of many 300B designs, yielding extended frequency response and dynamics that subjectively behave like a more powerful amplifier despite the 300B’s nominal power rating. Key components include US-made Transcendar silver-coated copper output and interstage transformers, Jupiter copper foil paper-in-oil coupling capacitors, copper wire throughout the signal path, copper shielding/copper-lined chassis, DC filaments, Vishay and other high-quality resistors, Schottky diodes, and gold-plated tube sockets and connectors. The amplifiers are 100% point-to-point wired with a pure analog circuit free of chips or active regulators, built on hand-crafted walnut chassis. Standard tube complement includes Linlai 300B (pair), NOS 6V6 (pair), NOS Hytron 6SN7 (pair), RCA 5U4GB rectifiers (pair), NOS OA3 regulators (pair), and custom power umbilical cables (pair). Typical build time is approximately 3–4 weeks, and the amplifier carries a 2‑year warranty. Optional upgrade paths are offered: Tier 1 replaces the standard coupling capacitors with Duelund CAST silver/copper hybrid capacitors, while Tier 2 adds Takman metal film signal resistors and Jupiter Cosmos cathode capacitors in addition to the Tier 1 capacitor upgrade.
