About the VDM Reference

The Argento VDM Reference Cable is a premium audio cable designed with a proprietary Vibration Damping Material (VDM) dielectric that drastically reduces microphonics and eliminates the traditional hyper hi-fi sound typical of usual dielectrics. Manufactured with extreme attention to resonance control, the cable uses multiple ultra-high purity individually insulated conductors, cryo-treated and polished for optimal surface quality. The geometry ensures all conductors are of equal length to prevent signal smear. Connectors are machined from solid high purity silver rods and attached by compression to maintain a silver-to-silver interface, avoiding solder. The cable is flexible and designed for audiophile-grade performance, delivering a natural, organic sound with excellent detail and dynamic range. It is hand-terminated and double shielded where necessary, with gold-plated connectors to ensure signal integrity.
