The Arcam DiVA DV89 is a sophisticated DVD player that incorporates all features of the DV88 Plus while adding support for high-resolution stereo and multi-channel DVD-Audio discs. Designed and manufactured in the UK, it features state-of-the-art audio engineering with separate clocks and power supplies for video and audio paths. The player delivers extraordinary video performance with impressive picture stability and sharpness, while achieving CD replay performance equivalent to specialist standalone CD players. It includes high-performance Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround decoders for DVD-Video discs and uses parts and techniques commonly found in sophisticated broadcast equipment. The custom-designed remote control provides access to DVD commands and volume control for compatible Arcam amplifiers and AV receivers.
