The Arcam FMJ A32 is a stereo integrated amplifier designed and manufactured in the UK, known for its powerful and subtle audio performance. It delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers and 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with very low total harmonic distortion and a wide dynamic range. The amplifier features a high-quality phono input supporting both moving coil (MC) and moving magnet (MM) cartridges, adjustable input sensitivity for all inputs, and individually adjustable tone controls that can be saved per input. It includes a remote control that also operates matching Arcam FMJ CD players and tuners. The A32 offers a large, custom green dot-matrix display with user-configurable options such as volume control behavior, input trimming, and a personalized startup message. Its power section uses a large toroidal transformer and Sanken output transistors with temperature compensation, operating in class A/B. The chassis is robust with vibration control, and the amplifier supports speaker loads from 4 to 16 ohms. It was available in silver or black finishes and is now discontinued.
