About the ASPEQT

Aragon ASPEQT (Automatic Speaker Parameter and EQualization Tool) is a portable, proprietary acoustic measurement and room-optimization system for compatible Aragon/Acurus immersive audio processors. It uses four calibrated, omnidirectional USB measurement microphones to measure the response of a speaker layout from multiple listening positions. Its processing system and graphical user interface analyze the room and automatically calculate and transfer speaker delay, level, phase, and parametric-EQ settings to a compatible processor. The available documentation identifies ASPEQT as a room-calibration kit rather than a conventional audio signal component such as a preamplifier, amplifier, DAC, speaker, or phono stage.
