Designed by Dan D’Agostino under Mondial Designs, the Aragon 4004 MKII is an upgraded version of the original 4004 amplifier, featuring two separate mono amplifiers in a single chassis with high-efficiency toroidal power transformers. It delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and doubles power into 4 ohms, making it capable of driving almost any speaker with ease. The amplifier is praised for its neutrality, transparency, and muscle, producing lifelike realism with excellent bass control and a stable, detailed sound. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, total harmonic distortion of 0.05%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB.
