The Aqua La Diva M2 is a state-of-the-art CD transport designed exclusively for high-fidelity CD playback. It features a fully redesigned mechanism and electronics compared to its predecessor, including a customized Philips CD Pro-8S transport optimized for silent, precise reading. The unit employs proprietary Isolated Synchronous Discrete Circuit (ISC) digital decoding implemented via FPGA, with galvanic and magnetic isolation between the CD drive and digital outputs to minimize jitter and interference. Its ultra-massive chassis with a high-rigidity sub-chassis coated in Nextel eliminates mechanical and acoustic vibrations. The La Diva M2 offers multiple digital outputs including AQlink (I2S over etherCON RJ45), AES/EBU, S/PDIF (BNC and RCA), AT&T ST fiber, and Word Clock (BNC). It uses a precision DC motor and Moplen clamp to reduce rotational mass and vibration. The device is handcrafted in Italy with industrial-grade components such as long-life capacitors and ultra-precision resistors. The micro-LED display has adjustable brightness and can be turned off. Firmware is field-upgradable, and the modular multi-board design allows future upgrades.
