About the La Diva M2 CD

The Aqua La Diva M2 is a high-end, modular, top-loading CD transport from Aqua Acoustic Quality of Italy. It is designed exclusively for playback of Red Book audio CDs and CD-R discs, with no internal DAC or analog audio outputs. Its architecture uses a customized Philips/StreamUnlimited CD Pro-8S transport platform, proprietary FPGA-based ISC/ISDC isolated synchronous digital decoding, dedicated servo and digital power regulation, and galvanic/magnetic isolation between the drive mechanism and digital outputs. Outputs include Aqua’s AQlink I2S interface, AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF, AT&T ST optical fiber, and a 75-ohm word-clock output. The La Diva M2 remains listed by the manufacturer and current specialist dealers; it is therefore not established as discontinued.
