The April Music Aura Note v2 is a compact, stylish all-in-one music system designed by British industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange and engineered by Simon Lee of April Music. It features a top-loading CD player with a magnetized chrome puck, a powerful 125 watts per channel class-D amplifier based on Bang & Olufsen ICEpower 250ASX modules, and a high-quality DAC capable of decoding up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM files (no DSD). The unit supports playback of FLAC, WAV, MP3, and WMA files from USB memory sticks and iDevices, and includes two USB ports: one for personal computers (up to 24/192) and one for portable music players (up to 24/96). It also has an FM tuner with 20 presets, Bluetooth receiver for wireless streaming, optical digital input, two analog auxiliary inputs, stereo preamp output for external amplification or subwoofer, and a headphone output.
