The Aperion Audio Intimus S-12 is a high-quality powered subwoofer with a 12-inch long-throw woofer and a 250-watt RMS amplifier (400 watts max). It features a vented cabinet constructed from 1-inch high-density fiberboard with cross-bracing for rigidity. The subwoofer offers a frequency response from 20Hz to 160Hz and a variable crossover frequency range of 40-160Hz. It includes variable phase adjustment (0 to 180 degrees), volume control, and auto-sensing 3-position power switch. Connectivity options include both line-level and speaker-level inputs and outputs. The subwoofer weighs approximately 66 pounds and measures 20.5 x 15 x 21.5 inches. It is noted for its extraordinary bass response and musicality, suitable for home theater and music applications. The cabinet finish is typically cherry wood. The product was released around 2004 and is considered rare and no longer in production.
