About the EX

The Antipodes Audio EX is a high-end music server that offers a range of functionalities, making it suitable for various audio setups. It supports user-installable storage up to 4TB HDD or 8TB SSD, allowing users to customize their storage needs. The EX features a built-in DAC capable of handling files up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD using the DoP protocol. It also includes two Ethernet ports, one for network connection and another for a low-noise dedicated feed to an Ethernet DAC. The device is powered by an ODAPS2 power supply, which reduces high-frequency noise without impeding current delivery. The EX can operate in multiple modes, including Roon Ready and Core Direct, providing flexibility in audio output configurations.
