About the Level 2

The ANTICABLES Level 2 Balanced XLR Interconnects are a stereo pair of fully balanced analog cables designed to connect line level audio components. They start at per pair and come with a 30-day risk-free trial. These cables use oxygen-free copper with impurities reduced to 5 parts per million and feature cryogenically treated signal wires. Unlike typical cables that use thick plastic dielectric materials, these cables suspend the wires in free air with only a thin red coating, minimizing dielectric effect distortion and capacitance. The connectors are gold-plated 90% copper alloy contacts, not brass. An optional double shielded version is available for turntables or environments with high EMI/RFI. Sonically, they offer smoother and more extended highs, greater dynamics, improved resolution, richer harmonic structure, purer tone, and stronger, more tuneful bass compared to Level 1 interconnects. They are handmade in the USA, one pair at a time in Lake Elmo, MN.
